Ryan achieved this honor by successfully completing Mercury Marine’s extensive factory technical training curriculums as well as maintaining the highest standards for work performance and delivery of outstanding customer service. To be eligible for the Master Technician award, an individual must have satisfactorily completed a minimum of six years of technical service in the marine industry, four of which must have included status as a Certified Master Technician for Mercruiser Sterndrives. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of a written examination, training record, demonstrated technical competence and exemplary customer service. Less than 1% of all Mercruiser Technicians invest the time and energy to achieve Certified Master Technician status.
