March 2010 This is our very first electronic newsletter. We hope that you enjoy it. Feel free to forward it to other boaters and encourage them to add their name to our newsletter list by following the link on our web site. We hope to send out a newsletter about once per month. If there is anything that you would like us to add to future newsletters, we welcome your comments and suggestions. Last call for traditional two stroke outboards! While most carbureted two strokes were phased out of production in 2006, Mercury Canada has continued to import a few selected models. Now the end is in sight. Our remaining stock is all that we have to offer and they are selling quickly. We expect that our inventory will be depleted before the 2010 boating season begins. The few remaining models are limited to: 25 hp short shaft, 25 hp long shaft and 30 hp electric start/long shaft. All three models feature tiller handle steering. These engines are the last of their breed. If you love a simple two stroke like we do, you better get one quick! Chaparral 3 For Free Winter Sales Event has been extended until April 5th. Spring launch is always a hectic season for our service department and this spring should be no exception. If your boat requires any additional service over and above the typical spring preparations, we encourage you to make arrangements to get any of these repairs or upgrades completed early to avoid the rush. This year we will be open from 8:30 to 5:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday evenings we will remain open until 8:00 PM. On Saturdays we are here from 8:30 to 3:00 PM. These longer hours will remain in effect for April, May, June and July. Open House 2010 is fast approaching! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 10th. Our annual Open House and Boat Sale is a spring ritual for many of you. Once again we will feature an Accessory Expo in our service department and Larry Mellors will be presenting seminars in the Boat Showroom. Charlie Wray will be on hand from the Fishful Thinking TV Show and sales reps from many of our key suppliers will be in attendance also. Many specials are available in The Accessory Shop.
